Arlington Reads

Arlington Reads is the Arlington Public Library‘s signature series, bringing authors and readers together to talk about the important topics of our time. The theme for 2025 is Romance, and JQ will be discussing her novels, the world of Bridgerton, and her work as the National Ambassador for EveryLibrary.

This event will be live-streamed and recorded. It will be free, but the library may choose to require registration.

Southern Voices

Julia Quinn will keynote the 32nd annual Hoover Public Library’s Southern Voices Festival. More information will be posted when it becomes available.

Cuyahoga County Public Library

Julia Quinn will be opening the 2024-25 season of the William N. Skirball Writers Center Stage Series, presented by the Cuyahoga County Public Library and its academic partner Case Western Reserve University. Other authors appearing this season are Miranda July, Abraham Verghese, Shelby Van Pelt, Kaveh Akbar & Tommy Orange, and Erik Larson.

Tickets can be purchased for individual events or for the entire season. Attendees can choose in-person or virtual access.

Romance GenreCon

Julia Quinn will be headlining this year’s Romance GenreCon, hosted by the Mid-Continent Public Library in Kansas City.

Get ready for a weekend of author panels, book signings, and opportunities to connect with fellow readers. Fans of every type of romance will find something to love. For writers, Romance GenreCon is an ideal platform to enhance your skills, refine your storytelling, and find inspiration for your craft.

Other events include the Lady KC Reading Salon hosted by Cathy Maxwell, a Romance State of the Union, author panels, a book fair, and more. Please note that participants must register for each of the days they plan on attending. Julia Quinn will be at the event on Saturday, August 10 only.

A Slice of Literary Orange

A Slice of Literary Orange is Orange County, CA Public Libraries’ author series featuring keynote speakers throughout the year at various venues across the county, with no cost for attendees.

Julia Quinn will be appearing at the Norma Hertzog Community Center in Costa Mesa. Books will be available for purchase, courtesy of Mysterious Galaxy. No registration required, all ages welcome. Early arrival suggested.

Romance, Wine, and Chocolate

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. Tickets may become available if someone cancels; please check the ticket link below.

JQ will appear at the 5th annual Romance, Wine, and Chocolate evening, co-sponsored by the Orange County Library System and Lorelei’s Lit Lair. Tickets go on sale August 1 and are $30, including one signed copy of Queen Charlotte, complimentary wine, and chocolate. As alcohol will be served, all attendees must be 21 years of age.

Julia Quinn’s speaking fee will be donated to Equality Florida, the largest civil rights organization dedicated to securing full equality for Florida’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community.
