Join Julia Quinn for an evening of humorous and enlightening conversation as she explores the revolution of romance novels. Quinn will consider her own journey to literary success, from selling her first book at the age of 24 and dropping out of medical school, to being the author of eighteen consecutive New York Times bestsellers. She’ll also share the inspiration behind Lady Whistledown, touch upon the process of turning her beloved books into a global TV phenomenon and dish the dirt on her favorite characters.
With a chance to ask your own questions about everything from feminist heroines to heartthrob heroes, this is an evening you do not want to miss.
The event will initially be broadcast on 7 February 2021 at 6.30pm UK time. It will be available to view up to a week after the event has ended and can be accessed worldwide.
