My sister Violet Charles was an incredibly talented artist and illustrator, and we had wonderful fun teaming up for Miss Butterworth and the Mad Baron. But long before the graphic novel came to be, she was creating Bridget Over Troubled Waters (second comic below, where Bridget’s mom Debbie has a bit of a thing for the Duke of Hastings). It was only natural that we’d eventually team up for “Bridgertons Over Troubled Waters”.

This first comic is Violet’s hilarious interpretation of The Scene in The Viscount Who Loved Me where Anthony discovers Kate hiding in his office.
