The working title was Am I Right, Ladies? but strangely enough, this was deemed inappropriate for a regency novel.
We have our first piece of casting news for the upcoming Bridgerton Netflix series, and it’s SPECTACULAR. Lady Whistledown will be voiced by none other than Julie Andrews.
We will continue to post Netflix news as it happens!
If you’re a lover of all things Bridgerton, you’re going to want this gorgeous trade paperback edition of the book that started it all: The Duke and I. This cover is for the trade paperback edition only and is available to order from all vendors.
What’s different about the trade paperback and what’s not different is all spelled out in an FAQ. Plus, a new FAQ about the mysterious Thomas Harcourt from The Girl With the Make-Believe Husband. (Spoiler warning: don’t read the Thomas Harcourt FAQ if you haven’t read the book!)
JQ was featured on the Seattle Channel’s Art Zone with Nancy Guppy in a nine-minute video interview in which she dishes on the Netflix news, reader expectation, and the lure of a nice guy hero. Check it out!
Want more JQ video entertainment? See interviews, the video Prologue to Because of Miss Bridgerton (starring the cat on the roof), and a real music video of a real song “starring” JQ herself running in slow-motion across a lawn with a sprinkler in hand to douse a bride on fire. Really.
It’s official! Miss Butterworth and the Mad Baron is going to be a GRAPHIC NOVEL!
JQ is extra excited about this — especially as it’s a collaboration with her sister Violet Charles of comics renown.
It will be well over a year before publication. As of now there is no firm release date, but as soon as any pre-order links become available we will of course post them here.
How can you see sneak peeks? JQ may post the occasional illustration on both Facebook and Instagram, but Violet will be posting tidbits about the project considerably more often, and JQ highly recommends fans of Miss Butterworth follow Violet on social media, specifically: @violetcharlescomics, fb/violetcharlescomics, or to see sneak peeks first as well as exclusive outtakes, follow Violet on Patreon.
